Courtyard Cafe NGS, not just a Cafe, a cultural hyphen in Singapore History

Hi there, 

Located near City hall MRT (1 St Andrew's Rd, #01-02A), at 100m walking distance from FUNAN Mall, right aside the National Gallery, Courtyard cafe is not an ordinary cafe, and everyday we make sure of that.

Here, most of the local delights are the decades of house recipe of my Granny! Yes, I am Kelvin, the owner :), nice to e-meet you! 

For the last 20 years, I have perfected the recipes of my Grandma and a few years ago, in her memory - she always pushed me in learning the secrets of Peranakan cuisine - I decided to open Courtyard Cafe. 

I recreated the atmosphere the cafes during the colonial period, not as a form of reminiscence of a past time but more as a hyphen in Singapore culture to feature the perseverance of preserving Singapore Heritage food (food that had been passed down for years). I created my menu on this base, sort of legacy of the best that Singapore’s food has to offer. 

My team and I will be happy to welcome you with our usual warm smile and "Bonne humeur", in a cosy ambience, where you will get to taste affordable Asian Straits Cuisine, deep roots recipe of Singapore heritage food selections (examples…)

The cafe is opened from 10am to 7pm (last order 6.30pm), everyday!
